Background
Grant Thornton is one of the leading international organizations that brings together independent auditing, accounting and consulting firms to help dynamic companies unlock their growth potential. The organization employs over 35,000 staff in more than 130 countries around the world.
The Cambodian branch of the company needed to optimize its IT infrastructure operation, and improve the quality of service administration and manageability of leased cloud services. The project was implemented by Noventiq, which has the highest Microsoft partner status.
Solution
The survey carried out by Noventiq specialists showed that data located in the Microsoft cloud services infrastructure for the Cambodian branch are administered by IT specialists from Grant Thornton in Vietnam. During the project's implementation, Active Directory was updated on the customer's servers, cloud services were connected to the new IT infrastructure and Office 365 solutions (Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint, OneDrive) configured. Exchange Online was also integrated with the customer's existing Mimecast solution designed to detect and block unwanted information and malicious programs contained in emails.
The company's IT specialists received training on how to use the new system. As a result, the customer improved its IT services performance, reduced the time burden associated with administration, modification and troubleshooting, while streamlining the work of system administrators.
