Noventiq was chosen as the provider. As a result, NovaTech received a fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure with guaranteed hardware performance and 24x7 technical support.
The situation
NovaTech is a supplier of agricultural equipment for customers in Volgograd, Samara, Astrakhan, and Saratov regions and the North Caucasus Federal District. NovaTech has more than a hundred employees in six cities of Russia and offices in six regions. Due to business expansion and the increasing number of employees, the company needed to review its IT strategy. A fault-tolerant and scalable solution was required to ensure the uninterrupted operation of their resource-heavy 1C application. The customer considered buying more powerful server hardware or switching to cloud hosting. As a result, NovaTech chose cloud because of its unlimited scalability.
The solution
Softline offered computing resources in the form of its own VMware-based cloud, hosted in a Tier III data centre in Moscow. We also provided email services for 100+ employees as part of the Virtual Office service. Now, NovaTech has a fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure with guaranteed hardware performance and 24/7 technical support.
The results
"We provided the customer with cloud capacities which can then be flexibly scaled according to the pace of business growth. The pay-per-use model with monthly billing allows NovaTech to forecast expenses and plan the IT budget efficiently," commented Dmitry Kravchenko, Head of Regional Cloud Services at Softline.
"By moving to the cloud, we’ve made huge savings on hardware upgrades and maintaining server equipment. By deploying 1C and email in the cloud, our company has improved the performance of these solutions and provided employees with uninterrupted access from all offices," said Andrei Efimov, Head of the IT Department at NovaTech.
