Noventiq India (formerly Softline) recognised by Microsoft as leading Cloud Service Provider in the region

London, 09 March 2022 – Noventiq (formerly Softline) (LSE: SFTL), the global IT and digital transformation provider, has been announced as one of the winners of Microsoft India’s Cloud Champions programme. This is another achievement for Softline’s three-dimensional growth strategy which further strengthens their position in such an important region.

Softline Holding plc began trading under the brand name Noventiq after divesting part of its business in October 2022.

The award sees Softline recognised by Microsoft as the leading Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) in India and cements its position in the growing segment of the Indian market in addition to the success of Softline with enterprise customers . It also underlines the high-quality service which Softline offers to small and medium sized businesses who have chosen Softline as their provider.

As one of 11 winners, out of over 700 CSP providers across India, Softline’s employees will now receive professional mentoring and coaching from Microsoft. Additionally, Softline India now has additional certification from Microsoft, further distinguishing the business as a regional leader in the industry.

The award follows on from Softline’s recent acquisitions of cloud services firm Umbrella Infocare, and IT consultancy Embee, deals which have significantly grown Softline’s presence in the region. The country has been identified as a priority market for Softline and, in recent years, the company has established itself as a major multi-cloud player there, growing 120x organically since 2014, with the turnover of almost $240m in the fiscal year 2020 not counting recent acquisitions.

Roy Harding, CEO of Softline said:

“We’re delighted that our continued strong collaboration with Microsoft in India has been recognised. Softline is committed to providing innovative cloud solutions and services  to businesses of all sizes. Our capabilities, now marked by  this sought-after recognition from Microsoft, together with our own customer-centric approach have positioned us well in the market.

This also underlines the success of our three-dimensional growth strategy by highlighting how we are successfully amplifying Softline’s capabilities in different markets around the world. In recent years we have strengthened our geographical presence in India and our services portfolio with some very advanced cloud engineering skills. We also can now channel those talents and knowledge to provide services elsewhere in the world.”
