Noventiq and Microsoft Collaborate to Migrate Oman Government Entities to M365 and Enhance Security

A total of around 2,000 users from four government entities have successfully transitioned to M365, with four additional entities in the pipeline.

London, United Kingdom. 11 June 2024 – Noventiq Holdings PLC, a global leader in digital transformation and cybersecurity, announced the successful migration of multiple government entities in Oman to Microsoft 365 (M365) and the implementation of advanced security features available in M365. This project underscores Noventiq's commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and security for its customers.

The primary goal of this initiative is to leverage collaboration, identity, and security workloads available as a service from Microsoft. This enable’s government entities to benefit from cloud adoption while ensuring security of workloads deployed. A total of around 2,000 users from four government entities have successfully transitioned to M365, with four additional entities in the pipeline.

Noventiq was selected as the preferred Microsoft Fast Track Partner for this project. This partnership leveraged Noventiq's expertise and Microsoft's cutting-edge technologies to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process.

As part of the project, Noventiq implemented a few Microsoft M365 solutions:

  • Microsoft Entra ID: To have a unified identity integrated with on-premises directory for seamless user access and provisioning.
  • M365 Exchange Online: Providing secure, reliable email and calendaring services.
  • Microsoft Teams: Facilitating collaboration and communication across departments.
  • Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint Online: To facilitate document and data storage in the cloud and enhance collaboration.
  • M365 E5 Security: Enhancing security with advanced threat protection and compliance solutions.

The migration to M365 has significantly improved the operational efficiency and security posture of the involved government entities. By adopting M365 Exchange Online, Teams, and E5 Security, these entities now benefit from a robust, integrated platform that enhances productivity and safeguards sensitive information.
